How to Apply for a Canton Fair Invitation Letter: Step-by-Step Guide

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you through the process.

Step 1: Register on the Canton Fair Website or download the app

Start by visiting the official Canton Fair website www.cantonfair.org.cn. This may come up in chinese just scroll and look for the english icon

Go to the buyer section of the canton fair and Create/Register as a buyer account using your email address.
Make sure you use a valid email you have regular access to, as all updates will be sent there and you will need to verify your email first before your account is fully functional.

Step 2: Complete Your Profile

After registration, complete your buyer profile:

Upload your personal and company details.
Enter your passport information accurately including uploading a photo
Easier and faster to apply on the app and functions are easy to navigate

Double-check everything before submitting, as errors may cause delays.

Step 3: Pre apply for your Buyers Badge

You need a Canton Fair Buyer Badge because it is the only official admission to the event, granting you direct and easy access to the exhibition halls. Holding a badge saves you time and the cost of on-site registration, and the badge itself is a valid for multiple future sessions, allowing for convenient re-entry without the need to register each time.

In your Canton Fair buyer account click the tab apply to:

Pre-apply for the buyers badge, this will be given to you at the fair you cannot print the badge at home
Assign yourself as employee or administrator for your company in the associate management tab

Step 4: Apply for the invitation letter

Once your profile is ready, log in back into your canton fair account and go to:
“My Canton Fair” → Apply for Invitation Letter

Select Invitation Letter for Visa click the red button and this is usually an instant download.
Ensure you save this onto your desktop and print a copy.

Step 5: Download Your Invitation

When approved:

Log in to your Canton Fair account.
Download your PDF invitation letter.
Print it and include it in your Chinese Visa application at your local embassy or consulate.
